Has our ship sailed out of the harbor?

Missing the boat is an idiom that refers to losing opportunities.  Some people are slow to act, others are unmotivated, and others are ignorant of possibilities and opportunities.

However, recognizing these missed opportunities is the first step towards seizing future ones; with awareness, possibilities, and opportunities compound.

Our awareness and determination to exploit opportunities are not just keys to success; they are the tools that put us in control of our destiny.

The 80/20 rule suggests that 20% of the people are responsible for 80% of the successes.

Conversely, 80% of the people create 20% of the successes.

Why are 80% of the people willing to forgo possibilities?  Why don’t more of them work harder to break out and demand success for themselves?

The attitude of mediocrity is a common characteristic that can hold us back from seizing opportunities and achieving success.  However, it’s not a permanent state.

By setting high standards for ourselves, cultivating a growth mindset, and consistently pushing our boundaries, we can overcome mediocrity and strive for excellence.
