Karma is always there and can be a harsh teacher.  A better solution is to recognize that throughout your life, our family and our relationships are not just important; they are essential. They are the cornerstone of our personal development and should be our top priority, far more than working for the next digit on our financial statement or the third new sports car.

Our actions today have consequences tomorrow, some intended and some unintended. Some consequences are physical.  In contrast, others are mental. Unfortunately, most of us didn’t learn this as children or in our early adulthood. Life would be a lot easier if this were embedded in our consciousness from childhood on.  On the other hand, we should teach our children about this fact from early on.
